This partnership between Alex Newport and Hillbilly Devilspeak's Tom Reardon was a true slice of screeching, feedback drenched noise.

They released two fine pieces of vinyl: The Benevolence of Dogs and Other Evolutionary Accidents and the 10" Mary Poppins, both on BGR, in 1995.

In truth, SoC sounded more like Hillbilly Devilspeak and certainly nothing like the guitar heavy Fudge Tunnel. The influence of this project can be heard in the first Theory of Ruin 7".
